Rotating devices

GD offers its own motorized rotating beam with a load capacity of up to 12,5 t. The rotating device can be suspended from the crane hook. The device consists of a short lifting beam with a polyester fiber lifting strap wound on drive discs at both ends. These are to be wound around the load to be lifted and rotated. The lifting straps can be moved by rotating the drive discs to rotate the load. The rotating device is operated by radio remote control.

Rotation of long workpieces (e.g. welded crane bridges) can be carried out safely using a combination of motorized and freely rotating beams. Rotating beams can be delivered in an adjustable design based on the needs of the customer. These can be adjusted to the size of the load to be rotated, the distance of the rotating straps is adjusted by motor remote control.
