The ability of innovation is the condition of company’s development

In GD’s history the year of 2013 was a hard challenge. In the Hungarian market the growth of the market demand was not noticable still. Therefore the export has got more focus in our market  tasks.

The aircraft industry soars in Western Europe! This gives an opportunity to all companies, which with their professional knowledge and technological readiness able to be a part of this prosperous industry.  In 2013 we have been a succesfully part of more project in aircraft industry which helped us to survive the Hungarian’ difficulties therefore given a basis for a strong and increasing presence in the leading sectors of Western Europe.


Turbine repairing scaffold system to The French Air Force

We have won collaborated with our biggest french partner  a french public tender, in which GD designed, produced and commissioned at the site the scaffold system which supply the turbine repairing of French Airforce’ C130 aircraft. The scaffold system ensures the big maintenance of all 4 turbine of the aircraft in parallel, at the same time.

The workers are lifted by a mechanism which led by hydraulic cylinder and scissor system.  Each scaffold parts can be moved on their gear system and can be adjusted to their right direction,place.  Those separately make compact units with the complete electric and hydraulic system. Because the equipment lifts persons the strict criteria, requirements as well protection against falling need to be fullfilled. On the all of scaffold units the energy, pressured air which need for working can be reached.

Important require was the high level functional and ergonomic design, which was perfectly established. After the start up we recived the order regarding the second scaffold system, which will be commisioned at the site in the first quarter of 2014.

Aircraft can not be produced without crane

The Portugese OGMA aircraft industry is producing (among) to the Brasil Embraer fuselage parts. We have provided special cranes to their new producing line , which are lifting up each fuselage part from their producing station and transport to their next producing phase.

The cranes consit of 2 trolleys, which movement of course stepless. The trolleys executed with STAHL newest improvement hoisting technology. The cranes lift the irregular shaped products with lifting beams which can be dumped in each way as the technology requires.



Producing equipment of A330 Airbus’ fuselage units

The A330 jetliner is already 20 years a produced type of Airbus. Because the interest still not less to this type , the producer has come up with the decision in changing the old producing equipment. If he is changing the manufacturing device then he is going to develope the producing of technology with a higher productivity group of manufacturing device.

 GD received the order to design and produce the most critical units of the producing equipment, the shaper units. Those fix during the production all the components of the fuselage,  therefore they outline the shape of  it too.

All the positioning units made with +- 0,2mm tolerance, which was verified with laser tracker measuring device.

Repairing scaffold for AWACS machines

In Europe there are operating AWACS (Airborne early warning and control system) aircrafts. Those are usually the modified versions of Boeing 707. Occassonally those need to be checked and repaired which requires special scaffold system.

 

The scaffold constructions is mobile,therefore can be moved with forklift. The tail of the airplane can be reached from 3 levels, therefore all of the vertical leading plane can be reached. The 3 working levels structurally is 1 whole, which can be operated up-and down by 2500 mm stroke hydraulic cylinders to the requested position.

n the middle axe of podest’ level the podest units can be pulled away then can be punctually fitted to the aircraft. Operating of the telescopic system by self locking, manually operated jack screw mechanic system.

The whole structure is galvanised. The structure can be taken apart for transport. Mounting at the site will be in the first quarter of 2014.
